Darby Allsorts

darby allsorts is an extraterrestrial humanoid that was discovered in the wreckage of a meteorite landing outside of eden. she was detained and sent to eden research university for study under the care of dr. mallory alden where she was nicknamed "darby" and is referred to affectionately as an alien.

she is identical in appearance to a human female with the exception of her coloration, the presence of horns and her blood, which is black with a molasses-like consistency. she exhibits electrokinetic abilities but has limited control over them and can cause city-wide power outages under duress. she is partially mute and her general language skills are underdeveloped as though delayed, thus she is heavily reliant on non-verbal communication with dr. alden as her interpreter.

she developed a close relationship with dr. alden in his care and after a few years of increasingly informal detention she was hired by the university as his aide and now lives on campus with him as her legal custodian.
